Isabella Rose

I can't believe how fast time is flying by. Bella is already 4 months old!!! At her checkup she weighed in at 16 lbs 9 oz and 25 1/4 inches long. She is my big girl and such a great baby!!!! We couldn't imagine life without her.

The Girls

Not much has been going on lately. Work has been taking up a lot of my time. But when I'm not at work my time is spent with my girls!!! They are growing and changing daily. Madison never stops talking and asking questions. Her little brain is a sponge soaking up everything we say. Sometime that is not a good thing so we are really having to watch what we say. And little miss Isabella is trying to catch up to her big sissy. She is cooing like crazy and able to roll over both directions. It took me a month but I was finally able to get it on video. Maison has been home from school the last two months and she is excited to go back this Monday. I can't wait to see how she does this year. We are also looking to get her into ballet classes. I think she will really enjoy that. Life is flying by!!!! But we are enjoying every minute of it!

Beautiful day at Knott's Berry Farm

After a very long and exhausting week of work it was a treat to hang out with my little family. Dave, Madison, Isabella, and I went to Hunter Martin's 1st birthday party at Knott's Berry Farm. The food was great and we had a blast. I was once again kicking myself for forgetting the camera. I am usually really good about that but this blog has cursed me. Now I never remember it. I have now put it back in my diaper bag so next time I will be prepared. Bella was a little angel as usual and slept the whole time. Madison went on so many rides it makes me tired thinking about it. That girl has no fear. She was begging to go on the giant roller coasters. Thank goodness there is a height limit! But she did go on her first ferris wheel ride and says that was her favorite. The day could not have been more beautiful!!!! I love my family and look forward to many more days like this.

Some Playtime with my Girls

Some of my favorite moments are those spent just sitting around with my girls. Madison is very entertaining these days and Isabella can't get enough of her. It is a blessing the way Madi has taken to having the baby here. I pray as they grow older the relationship will only grow stronger. Here are a few pictures Madi took today.

Caleb James Deleon

I was so excited today to find out our friends Gilbert and Stephanie Deleon welcomed to the world their 5th little miracle Caleb James. He was born this morning at 9:16 weighing in at 8 lbs. 2 oz and 20 inches long. I must say he is a little cutie pie!!!! I know his big brothers (Anthony/Judah) and sisters (Taylor/Chloe) will just love him to death. Just look at the pictures of Caleb and proud big brother Anthony. I had to fight to get a chance to hold him. I am very happy for them and look forward to watching little Caleb grow to be a beautiful child just like his siblings!

Fun Swim at the Lee's

Today the girls and I went for a much needed swim at the Lee's house. Of course I forgot our camera so no pictures of this adventure. I promise to try and do better about that. But we had a blast. Sara 1 make an awesome poolside lunch for us. Madison, Drew, and Emma had a great time floating in the pool while the babies ( Lillian and Isabella ) hung out in the shade. It was so nice relaxing in the water and catching up with Sara. I am blessed to have such a great friend!!!! And what a beautiful day it was.

Back to work

As of last night I am off maternity leave and back to work. My glorious five months went by way too fast. After an emotional goodbye to the girls and Dave I drove what seemed like the longest 21 miles ever to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. It was a pretty slow night and I was working with a great group of girls so my first night back went smoothly. I will miss my time with my family and friends and can't wait to go part time in September. That will be the greatest birthday present to myself ever!

My New Blog

Thank you Sara Lee aka Sara 1 for setting up this blog for me. You are the best!!!! I can't believe I am blogging now. I feel like such a grown-up. I will try my best to keep everyone up to date on our family adventures so check back from time to time. Love to all.

OC Fair!!

A few weeks back we went to the OC Fair with Sara and her kiddies, Drew/Emma/Lillian.  We were there for 5 hours and did not even make it down one section!  With the two mommies and 5 kids that need to pee, be fed bottles, eat, stop because they do not want to walk, and diaper changes!!  It really was very funny to see us.  Sara 1 even walked in poo....so gross!  We had a great time watching the pig races
